SUSTAINABILITY
Altmann Casting places great importance on socially and environmentally friendly business practices in working with precious metals. This is why we are a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), a non-profit organisation that promotes and certifies sustainable processing technologies.
After successfully negotiating the certification process for the RJC Certificate “Code of Practices” (COP) in 2018, we have since 2020 also been in compliance with the RJC’s “Chain-of-Custody” (CoC) Standard. The COP Standard means we are committed to casting practices that are ethical, compliant with human rights and socially and ecologically sound. The CoC Standard means that we also ensure the complete traceability of the gold alloys we utilise, back to their place of origin. We furthermore guarantee responsible production and processing methods for the materials we use.
