FROM DATA FILES
Precision casting from data files means: you provide us with 3D data of the model (as .3dm, .step, .stp, .stl or .vtf files). This template allows us to prepare all the necessary data in our Rapid Prototype Department. Our experts can then calculate possible shrinkage and define and construct the necessary sprue channels and subsequently create the 3D printing data.
In order to be able to offer our clients the best price/performance ratio, we have several printers in our 3D department that we can use optimally to produce a wax or resin model, depending on the complexity of the order. As with the precision casting from a model, we also maintain complete control over the process and store the precise pressure, vacuum and injection times. And of course, here too the client can access the model at any time via our web login and make another order.
The 3D model (positive) is then used to create a plaster mould (negative), with which we can then carry out the precision casting, either as a static or a centrifugal process, depending on the metal. Then the desired product is completed in our Finishing Department.
